Royal Hold'em: How to play
Tags:
Royal Hold’em has the same rules as Texas Hold’em with one major difference: The game is played with a stripped deck of cards that leaves only 20 cards to play with running from 10 to Ace. This is how a hand of Royal Hold’em is played:
**strip the deck you are using of all cards numbered 2 to 9**
- Hole Cards. Two cards are dealt face down to each player around the table.
- The Flop. Three cards are dealt face up on the table for everyone to see and these are called ‘community’ cards.
- The Turn. Alongside the flop a fourth card is dealt face up onto the table.
- The River. A fifth card is dealt to the table face up to make up the five cards that you have.
The five cards on the table are for everyone, they are called the community cards. You make your hand by, using any of the seven cards (the two in your hand and the five on the table) to make the best poker hand that you can using five. All the players at the table have access to the community cards. When playing for money there are four rounds of betting, one round after each card is dealt.
