The River Card club is situated in Stanmore on Church Road.

The club is above the Bradford and Bingley Building Society. There is an archway with a service road at the side of the building society. The entrance to the club is about 5 yards into the service road on the right hand side.

The River Card Club is a members only social club in Stanmore N.W London, UK.

It’s easily accessible by London underground Stanmore station (Jubilee) and Edgware station (Northern) and a number of London buses pass the door. There is also parking facilities at the rear of the premises.

The club is run by a committee of club members who see to the administration and general running on a voluntary basis.

The Club is more than a poker and card games venue, the members also enjoy raising money for Charity. They have raised £160,000 for various charitable committees supporting ovarian cancer, multiple sclerosis Alzheimer's to name a few.

Live poker is a big draw and they run cash poker games everyday at 8.30pm and also at 1.30pm on Thursdays and Saturdays plus quite a few tournaments for various levels of players.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending upon your perspective they don’t serve alcoholic drinks at this time but they do have a small cafeteria.

Membership is complimentary at the River Card Club but as usual make sure you take photo ID such as a passport or driving license. You can apply online at their website.
