Arriving at 9pm meant that my game choice was limited to cash.
Despite drinking about 14 beers I managed to turn €100 into €310 by kicking out time.At the hotel I started to play 2-7 triple draw for a few hours and turned €500 into €880 by lunchtime.(God Bless the Fins)

I was on auto pilot and couldn't sleep so went for lunch beside the casino.
Lobster €35..that'll do nicely.
Feck it it's been a tough week.
After 4 glasses of Chardonnay I was starting to drift off.
that was until my friend Constantine began to bang on the restaurant window like the mad man that he is. It was so embarrassing.

"Hey Buddy how you fixed? Wanna play tournament?"

It turns out to be a €5 rebuy in which I previously held the record of most rebuys @ 32! He knew value when he saw it so I paid my bill and regged.
So eventually I made it to the break with only 1 rebuy but seriously shortstacked.

After the break I fell asleep and awoke to the table in stitches laughing at me.
'Raise' I declared trying to save face but had to fold to a reraise who showed 8,3 os.

'My God dude you're playing like it's a €5 rebuy or something'..Well I thought it was funny.

By 8pm I was comiserating the guy who came 2nd as I picked up my €240 for 1st place..nice

I returned to the seafood restaurant for dinner and tried to dose up on wine to get some sleep.
The waitress nearly had a heart attack as I nearly choked on the crab. While flicking through this months copy of Poker Eoropa I spotted a familiar face on page 20.The same nutcase who called my 6500 raise with AQ suited ( I held KK) and spiked and ace to ruin my IPO victory dreams.Yed Stefan Rapp you know what you did..

Over-Playing AQ suited causes traffic accidents you know!

So with enough wine in me to sink a ship I stumble back towards the hotel. On the way I spot another casino and decide to register.It's 9:30pm and I'm a wreck.
In a final act of defiance I end up playing their €50 freezeout and spin out after 30 mins running JJ into QQ preflop.Can't win em all I guess.

After far to many pints I awake in the hotel €400 lighter with a strange stamp on my hand.Damn! Must have played a cash game and lost.
I feel very strongly about player protection and not allowing drunk people play poker.
